The principle resolution within the renovation was the relocalization of the gallery: the brand new venture permits the home to open in the direction of the north with the forest, reaching fixed contact with nature for the person. The gallery’s morphology replicates the unique quantity of the shed with a gabled roof. Subsequently, the home is perceived as a duo of mirrored volumes: one among them full and the opposite empty.

The unique building had a gallery with glass enclosures that it was determined to reuse. From these recovered home windows, the brand new gallery and facade of the home have been modulated. Consequently, the picture consists of a succession of modules with totally different ranges of opacity in line with their operate: some blind materialized in sheet steel present privateness, others semi-transparent materialized in polycarbonate let mild move however defend from rain, and others fully permeable, dematerialized, permit to be crossed. From one of many permeable modules, a path results in the forest that precedes the home, delimiting remoted areas between the timber and ending within the pool.

The proportion of inside – exterior within the flooring plan is equal: the intention is that the person spends more often than not within the gallery, sharing and having fun with nature.
